Operational

Degraded Performance
The service is available but not performing at normal levels — e.g., slower response times, intermittent errors, or delays. Users can generally still use it, but the experience is impacted.
Partial Outage
A specific component, feature, or subset of users is affected while the rest of the system remains functional. Not a full failure, but a meaningful piece is down.
Major Outage
A significant or complete failure of the service. Most or all users are unable to use the system, or a critical function is entirely unavailable.
Under Maintenance
The service (or part of it) is intentionally offline or limited due to planned/scheduled work — not an unplanned failure. Typically communicated in advance.
